Working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN or SEND) is a rewarding career choice where your input can be life changing.

Many of the jobs in SEND are term-time only, which means hours of work can fit nicely around your own childcare, and you get holidays off too!

A Youth Support Worker in education supports the learning journey of the children and young people who may struggle in mainstream education. They are likely to need 1:1 support throughout various aspects of their day including in lessons, sport, accessing the community and personal development.

Working with individuals who have special educational needs and disabilities requires someone who is caring and considerate, patient, shows perseverance, and be a positive role model who will encourage and ignite self-belief.

With the benefit of smaller class sizes in SEN, a bespoke curriculum and state of the art facilities, the working environment is welcoming, nurturing and thriving with individuals who want to achieve.

This position will suit an individual who is looking to build a career in the education. Perhaps you are just starting out, returning to work, or having a change of career. This is an opportunity to bring your own personality and character to work, where you can really make a difference, gain qualifications along the way, and develop a lasting career in a rewarding sector where your input makes a huge difference to others.

Hours are generally 08.30-15.30 Monday to Friday (term time only), but part time hours are also available.

Unfortunately, we can't offer sponsorship so please only apply if you are eligible to live and work in the UK.
