Production Operative
£24,500pa (£11.78ph), Tockwith, YO26, 28 days paid leave, 7.30am-4pm, Monday - Friday with regular overtime. Training provided, free parking.
Opportunities have arisen within this exciting company. They are looking for a production operative to join a really stable department which supports many other departments. The role is therefore integral to the smooth running and performance of the company.
Job role will involve the following;
* Safely loading and unloading of vehicles
* Ensuring that all items are prepared and loaded correctly
* Simple assembly work which could include painting, sanding and filing
* Manually moving parts between departments
* Waste Management and maintenance
* Using an iPad for routine instructions
* Occasional weekend will be required - overtime paid
We would expect the successful Production Operative to be able to demonstrate previous experience in a production role or have the desire to work in this kind of environment. You must be a team-player and be able to work flexibly and happy to adapt to whatever job is required. It is a fast moving role where you will be working to tight deadlines at times. FLT experience would be an advantage but not essential. Driving licence would be required and own transport a definite advantage due to the location of this company
