Class Act Teaching Services is the leading supply teaching agency in Oxfrodshire and we are currently working with a school near Oxford who are looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher. This Year 2 Class Teachers role is 4 days per week, with Thursday being the day off and is a long term supply teaching role for 1 academic term. As the discretion of the school, this may be extended further.
The position is at a village Primary School situated on the Outskirts of Oxford who, at their most recent inspection, continue to be rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The ethos of this school is to allow children to learn in a nurturing environment where they can continually progress and thrive.
Role of Reception Class Teacher:
- Strong knowledge of the Primary School curriculum
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Reception Class Teacher Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status
- Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
