Crynodeb
The Review, Retention and Disposal Unit (RRDU) is a mandated department within all Forces to manage the retention and disposal of crime and intelligence files in line with the National Police Chief's Council Approved Policing Practice (NPCC APP) on the Management of Police Information (MoPI). The MDP have a current ongoing project to cleanse historic data, prior to the potential migration to a new crime and intelligence system, and in order to comply with the MoPI standards and Data Protection. Successful candidates will work within a team to undertake the review of all crime files held on the UNIFI system and in hard copy, in line with the MoPI criteria, and identify where records need to be retained, and where they need to be disposed of.
