Kingsley Consulting is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a Fleet & Plant department in Rugby. The role involves servicing and repairing the company's fleet of cars and vans, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the full range of vehicle maintenance tasks, from routine servicing to complex repairs and diagnostics. You will work in a professional environment aimed at delivering seamless service to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform servicing, repair, and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop to the highest standard.
Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, including work on suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, air conditioning, and tyres.
Handle maintenance and repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles, focusing on batteries, drive motors, and control systems as required.
Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards, ensuring maintenance systems and files are up-to-date.
Collaborate with other members of the workshop team to share knowledge and continuously improve service delivery.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician.
Holding or working towards an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle systems would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
