An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor is required for overseeing project works ranging from £50k to £2m, focusing on diverse development projects. The role involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sub-contractor tender enquiries and evaluate quotations.
Prepare sub-contract agreements and perform site measurements and valuations.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and handle client variations and payments.
Ensure all project works are carried out to the highest standards and within budget.
Experience & Skills Required:
Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, with a focus on public sector projects.
Strong financial management and negotiation skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with relevant professional qualifications.
Excellent communication and team management abilities.
