Working for the European arm of a global manufacturing specialist in their field, you will be taking on a varied role within a small and very busy team. You will be managing projects from inception through to production for both Automotive OEM's and Tier one suppliers. This is a great opportunity to work for a company that has seen YOY growth, is forward moving and will give you both autonomy and a significant amount of global travel.
Job role / duties
•Act as linchpin between customer and production
•Ensure customer requirements are fully understood
•Assist in managing projects from initial enquiry through to production
•Ensure clarity of information on customer requirements for the development & manufacturing teams
•Create of project timing plans / DV & PV Test plans.
•Create 3D and 2D drawings using CATIA V5
•Coordinate prototype builds and delivery of parts according to customer schedules.
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Be currently working for a tier one automotive business rather than an OEM
•Have the ability to read 2D Detail and GA drawings.
•Have a solid working knowledge of Automotive engineering specifications.
•Be experienced with Catia V5 3D / 2D.
•Have total project management experience and be experienced in creating project timing plans as well as DV & PV test schedules
•Have a degree in automotive engineering
•Be multi-skilled and able to present clearly
