Fish and Chip Shop Assistant - Chinese Chippy!
Do you love a good chippy with a twist? We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team member to join our thriving Chinese chippy in Liverpool!
We offer delicious fish and chips alongside some fantastic Chinese favourites. You’ll be helping us serve up tasty food to our loyal customers, keeping the shop running smoothly, and contributing to a fun and fast-paced atmosphere.
What you’ll be doing:
Taking orders with a smile and offering excellent customer service.
Preparing food – that means battering fish, cooking chips, and getting stuck in with some of our Chinese specialties.
Using the till to process cash and card payments accurately.
Keeping the shop clean and tidy – wiping surfaces, taking out the bins, and making sure everything looks spick and span.
Helping to set up and close down the shop at the start and end of your shift.
What you’ll bring:
A positive and can-do attitude.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you’ll be chatting to customers and colleagues all day long!
A willingness to learn and get stuck in with all aspects of the job.
Being a team player is essential – we’re all in this together!
No previous experience necessary, but a passion for great food is a plus!
