Temporary Administrator – Resources

Job Ref: VLA 5249022

Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 40 Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months

City: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

The purpose of the role is to carry out a range of administrative duties for the team with limited supervision, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Day to day data entry.
Covering busy contract inbox.
Answering the phone (minimal)
Data analysis, interrogation, reporting and/or investigating data.
Report collation.
Learning the full Notts City Council bill process; management of processes and data input by admin team.
Attending whole team and management meetings.
Supporting all team activity.
Use of company credit card and company purchase ledger processes.
Overview of payroll process.

3 GCSE's, Grades A-C, or equivalent including English and Mathematics.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Good communication skills.
Previous administration experience.
Good people management.
Good communication written and verbal.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
