We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Healthcare Assistants within the Retford area to work flexible days in an award-winning residential care home.
The home caters for up to 22 elderly residents The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will be supporting residents in their daily tasks, facilitating hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
You will be expected to complete housekeeping tasks, follow health and safety guidelines, and accurately report condition updates and any incidents to senior staff members.
Staff meals and refreshments are provided for you to enjoy whilst on your break.
If you have a true passion for care and making a difference to those who are under your care, then we would love to hear from you!
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Flexible daytime hours between Monday to Sunday.
Typical Hours include:
07:00 to 14:30
14:30 to 21:30
You will be paid £11.50 per hour.
