The Dochas Carers Centre is a charity based in Lochgilphead and provides services to unpaid carers throughout Mid Argyll, Kintyre, Islay, Jura and Gigha. Due to worker retirement and expansion of our services, we currently have vacancies for the following post.
Senior Support Worker for Islay and Jura
£17.02/hour - 30 hours/week
You will be working from home and delivering services within communities and carers homes. You will be registering unpaid carers, co-producing adult carer support plans and reviewing these. You will be providing information and advice, run support groups, overseeing a small number of Time for Me workers and actively contribute to local strategic and partnership work.
