SEN Teaching Assistant Required ASAP or September 2024
Salary range Grade D (£28,272 - £29,583) Term time only (40 weeks)
32.5 hours/wk (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30)We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who would like to work with primary aged children in our friendly and happy school. You will support children with EHCPs (Education Health Care Plan) in the classroom. You will be flexible and willing to work within the foundation and primary age range. We are looking for someone who is patient, able to implement school strategies and deal with occurrences of challenging behaviour. You will need to be able to work well as part of a supportive team and take direction from the class teacher, use your own initiative and build a strong relationship with the children. Experience of working with children with autism would be an advantage although training will be provided for the successful candidate. ‘Leaders and teachers provide an education of exceptional quality. Adults skilfully adapt activities to help pupils with special educational needs and / or disabilities (SEND) learn alongside their classmates’ Graded Outstanding by Ofsted, October 2019 Closing date: Tuesday 4th June at 12 noon
