THE ROLE - Programme Controls Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical Programme Controls Manager to join a highly reputable business in the aerospace sector.
You will be overseeing cost reporting and scheduling for the UK division as well as some crossover with overseas units.
You’ll need to be an expert in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and project planning whilst also exhibiting key leadership qualities and an ability to work with a range of disciplines in the leadership team.
DUTIES – Programme Controls Manager
• Oversee financial and schedule performance of programmes.
• Detailed analysis of sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance analytics.
• Develop integrated master plans and schedules to support EVMS.
• Coordinate with global counterparts to develop best practices and processes.
• Provide technical direction to Project Management with regards to cost and performance.
• Lead the preparation of financial cost/schedule reporting.
• Develop ad hoc reporting to identify financial trends and improve programme execution.
• Mentor and develop the UK and Overseas Programme Controls team.
• Analyse major programme events and milestones.
• Interpret performance data for senior management reporting.
BACKGROUND - Programme Controls Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Accounting, or related field.
• Knowledge in cost management and scheduling concepts.
• A subject matter expert in MS Project.
• A subject matter expert EVM techniques.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• High value Programme Experience
