Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with a Nursery in Abingdon who are looking for a Room Leader on a permanent contract. This position is full time and permanent and the Nursery are looking for a Room Leader in the Toddler Room with an immediate start; the hours for this role will be 7am to 6pm.
This Nursery is looking for someone who can have a positive impact on the nursery and embody their child focused approach to learning; they also advocate for strong links with the parents to support the child to grow and develop. Kindness is at the heart of their values, and they pride themselves on providing a safe and supportive nursery environment.
Room Leader Role:
- Encourage and model positive behaviour to children
- Prepare and supervise daily activities, ensuring safety and well-being
- Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills
- Maintain communication with parents and staff and provide feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies
Room Leader Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education
- Current Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Recent Experience as a Room Leader in a Nursery or Early Years Provision
- Strong communication and the ability to work collaboratively
