We have 3 fixed term, 12 month vacancies to join our TCI (To Come In) Booking Clerk team at Southend.

Provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area including consultants, nurse specialist and Junior Doctors ensuring effective co-ordination of their theatre schedules etc across our MSE sites which include Orsett, Southend and Broomfield. This will include booking theatre lists, pre-assessments, booking clinical appointments and carrying out cancellations in line with Trust policy.



Fixed Term Contracts finishing on 31/03/2025.



Demonstrate high levels of customer care and be an ambassador for customer care within the trust.

Act as the communication hub for the clinical team. Be responsible for dealing with and recording all concerns/complaints coming into the department, both on the telephone and in writing, escalating as appropriate.

Work efficiently as part of a team and effectively manage and prioritise a large workload.

Receiving and answering PALS queries and complaints. Investigating these complaints and providing a suitable response to the patient.

Deal with patient requests / concerns promptly to prevent the hand off of the request to other areas, escalating concerns or complaints to the appropriate Management representative.
