About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strategically important team. Your contribution to the university’s vision of transforming people, societies and places through outstanding graduate outcomes and equipping business and communities with the skills for the future, will be to support the delivery and growth of entrepreneurship activity and strategic objectives to achieve 75% graduate outcomes and 20% graduate retention in the region by 2027.

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our busy but friendly team, to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students and graduates creating their own business, freelancing or commissioning in the region. Reporting to the Head of Student and Graduate Employability, you will have responsibility for day-to-day delivery of a new 3 year cycle of the BeInspired Programme and play a vital role in ensuring we expand our entrepreneurial education and culture in Staffordshire University.

An important part of this role is working with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of the programme, including students, recent graduates, professional mentors and contacts from the regional business network. As part of the role you will design and deliver face to face and online marketing campaigns, recruitment processes, inductions and business reviews with participants to ensure that they are on track in creating and establishing their new businesses and targets are met.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will need to enjoy working under pressure, achieving targets and supporting students and graduates, it is essential that you demonstrate a flexible and collaborative approach and the ability to manage unpredictability.
