We are looking for a Mental Health and Wellbeing Worker to join our amazing Elder Street Team in Tranent, East Lothian.

Elder Street is a community based mental health rehabilitation service for individuals with complex mental health needs. Penumbra offer 24 hour tailored person centred support, supported living and community rehabilitation. Support delivered at Elder Street may be practical and emotional to help individuals lead an ordinary and fulfilling life in the community.

The time, length and areas of activity covered are different for everyone, but structured support can include help with budgeting, life skills, confidence building and social inclusion for approximately 12-18 months. As a mental health and wellbeing worker at Elder Street you will work alongside the Community Mental Health Team as part of the Wayfinder Model you will work alongside Wayfinder partners to support each individual with their goals and needs. The team at Elder Street are flexible and responsive, offering person centred support that each person feels most comfortable with. Penumbra will assist people using this service, to establish and maintain a meaningful and fulfilling life in their community.
