Hours: Mon-Fri rotating days (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm) OR Nights (10pm - 6am).

Rate: Day £12.63 per hour + overtime / Nights £14.23 per hour + overtime

Proman Recruitment is currently looking for FLT Operators on behalf of our Client who is one of the largest food co-packers.

The Role

As a forklift truck operator, your main duties would include:

    • loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans
    • moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
    • stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions
    • checking loads are secure
    • stacking empty pallets
    • performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric)

    The Candidate

    To be successful, you need to:

      • have previous experience in operating FLT trucks, such as Counterbalance, Reach, VNA and PPT.
      • be punctual and reliable
      • be able to organise and prioritise workload
      • have good numeracy and literacy skills

      Successful candidates will be invited to a 60 minute assessment where they will be asked to present a valid FLT certificate/license (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
