Role overview

Food Production Operative



Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: 40 hours per week – 3.00pm until finish (around 10.00pm/11.00pm) Sunday to Friday - 5 days out of 6 days

Location: James Hall & Co. Ltd, SPAR Distribution Centre, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT

Salary: £11.48 p/h

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be part of a team of Food Production Operatives who will play a key role in the
production of ready to eat pots, and the packing of goods.



What will I be doing?

As a Food Production Operative, you will support the Production Supervisor with preparing and manufacturing pasta salads,
coleslaw, and sandwich filler pots in line with our high standards. You will help maintain a safe and clean environment whilst
adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.



A Few Things About You

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in a food production environment or similar however, full Food Safety and
Hygiene training will be delivered to successful candidates. Other attributes we will be looking for include-

• A strong understanding of food safety

• A keen eye for detail

• Working as part of a team

• Undertaking training to improve knowledge

• Has worked with food previously

• Can give examples of good time management and reliability
