We are seeking a Children's Support Worker to join a supportive team within a leading provider of care and education for children and young people, committed to unlocking everyone's personal best.
The perfect candidate will be compassionate, demonstrating an enthusiastic and bubbly personality. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, coupled with a consistent and reliable work ethic. Patience is key, as is the ability to consistently provide excellent care to the young people. The ideal candidate will creatively engage individuals in daily tasks, fostering independence and empowerment.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 months experience with children's residential homes is required
• Experience with CSE would be a bonus
• Background in adult care or learning disabilities/challenging behaviour, with transferable skills will be considered
• Required to engage and spend quality time with young people
• Consistency and reliability are top priorities, along with values and attitude
• Applicants are encouraged to have hobbies and interests to share with children
