Salary: £33,000 / €35,500 per annum + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role? 

SSE Renewables provides the energy needed today and is building a better world of energy for tomorrow through the world class operation, development, and construction of renewable energy assets. We are seeking environmental science, geosciences and civil engineering graduates who will play a key role in ensuring the successful development, construction and operations of our current and future projects.

Throughout the 2-year programme, you will work across renewables in our hydro, solar and battery, onshore and offshore wind functions. Previous opportunities include working on projects including the worlds largest offshore windfarm, Doggerbank; the first large scale pumped storage scheme developed in the UK for more than 30 years at Coire Glas and Viking Wind Farm, currently the biggest onshore wind farm under construction in the UK. With support and advice from your mentor, colleague, and previous graduates, you will be able to design your own placement plan to suit your interests and career path.

What do I need?

Youll have a minimum of a 2:2 in Environmental Science, Geoscience, or Civil Engineering.

You should be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets and using your own initiative to overcome challenges.
