Job Title: Autism Support Worker
£12-£15 per hour
Location: Falkirk

Job Description: I am currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Workers to join our team. As an Autism Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing practical and emotional support to individuals with autism, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to individuals with autism in their home or community settings
- Supporting individuals with daily tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Assisting with educational and recreational activities
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and supporting individuals to develop coping mechanisms
- Providing emotional support and promoting independence and well-being
- Liaising with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities is preferred but not essential
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and knowledge of appropriate support strategies
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo training and development
