Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role as a "Floating Support Worker", across different services (Supported Housing, Outreach, Criminal Justice, Domestic Violence, Refugee) and different locations (Bristol, Bath, Nort Somerset, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire, Basingstoke).
You will be providing high quality direct and person-centred support to vulnerable adults and/or individual with complex needs. To assess and support clients to develop independent living skills within a wide range of social issues.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Build positive and effective working relationships and agreements with relevant external agencies.
- Demonstrate good organisation and planning skills with the openness to a changing work pattern/location at short notice.
- Ensure that administration is done promptly and to a high standard using the electronic case management system; with detailed, concise, and accurate records.
- Manage the planned and positive move-on of clients through the service, ensuring staff are supported to meet their targets around their length of stay.
- Comply with and implement our Health and Safety policies, ensuring all checks take place and are recorded.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have experience or interest to dip in and out a wide range of services.
- Ability to work out of hours, evenings, and weekends on occasions depending on the needs of the project
- You are PROACTIVE, PASSIONATE, DRIVEN and ORGANISED.
- You fully embrace the motivation and passion to advocate for individuals who have experienced homelessness /social exclusion.
- must be comfortable travelling to multiple locations.

MUST:
- DRIVING LICENCE and happy to drive ( lot of travelling involved)
- HOUSING ADMINISTRATION AND ABILITY TO PLAN
- EXPERIENCE WITH COMPLEX NEEDS INDIVIDUALS AND CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR
