Our dedicated team is passionate about delivering outstanding service, and we believe that our people make all the difference. We are now looking for a talented Coffee Shop Assistant / Barista to join our fantastic team.
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Coffee Shop Assistant / Barista, you will have the following responsibilities:
Maintaining a clean and organized environment at all times, including the front of house, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring that they have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the coffee bar, including following all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold drinks, including coffees, teas, and smoothies.
- Preparing and serving light meals, such as sandwiches, bagels, and pastries.
- Operating the coffee machine and other equipment, including cleaning and maintaining them.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
- Assisting with stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing stock.
Job Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Previous experience working in a coffee shop or similar environment.
- Barista skills are preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A high level of enthusiasm for the role and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to maintain a calm and organized working environment.
