Housing Solutions Officer (Gr G)
Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Housing Solutions Officer (Gr G). In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients in need of housing solutions. You will work closely with clients to assess their housing needs and develop appropriate options for them to consider. Additionally, you will collaborate with external stakeholders, such as housing providers and community organizations, to secure suitable housing options for clients. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of the housing market.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' housing needs and preferences.
Develop and implement individualized housing plans for clients.
Provide information and advice on housing options, including rental and homeownership opportunities.
Administer and coordinate housing programs and services.
Collaborate with housing providers to secure suitable housing options for clients.
Advocate for clients' housing needs and rights with landlords and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and case notes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, housing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in housing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of local housing policies and programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and communities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time : 09:00
End Time : 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £18.95
