Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering furniture to customers residential properties . This role is customer facing and you will need excellent customer service skills. You will need to be able to complete multi drop deliveries daily with heavy lifting involved. Drivers mate will assist on heavier runs.
05:00 starting time.
£13-£15 per hour
Duties:
-Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with delivery schedules
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with appropriate category for driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
-Minimum 2 years on licence
