Opportunity to work for a large East Midlands local authority's tree section out of Melton Mowbray. They are currently looking for an Arborist Tree Surgeon to work as part of a team to deliver Tree Services throughout the county and occasionally, surrounding counties. Activities included in this job specification are: Tree surgery and felling; planting and maintenance; hedge layering; planting schemes.
Candidates should hold a certificate for aerial use of a chainsaw and hold a full driving licence. In return candidates will receive £13.70per hour for a 37 hour week. There is also the opportunity to work overtime and to support a call-out rota on an ad-hoc basis to cover evening, weekend and public holiday emergencies at enhanced rates. This is an ongoing temporary contract which may become permanent after a probationary period.
