Job Summary:

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of care provision within our organization. You will ensure that high-quality care is delivered to all service users, in line with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role involves managing staff, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both service users and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

- Provide strong leadership to the care team, ensuring clear communication and direction.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise care staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting staff morale and teamwork.

2. Care Provision:
- Oversee the assessment of service users' needs and the development of care plans.
- Ensure that care plans are implemented effectively, regularly reviewed, and updated as necessary.
- Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular audits and assessments.
- Address any issues or concerns related to the delivery of care promptly and effectively.

3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing care provision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and staff training records.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders as required, representing the organization professionally.

4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other agencies to ensure holistic care for service users.
- Communicate effectively with staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.

5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and implement appropriate changes.
- Stay abreast of developments in care practices, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate them into service delivery.
- Encourage innovation and creativity within the care team to enhance the quality of care provided.


Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent qualification with current registration/license.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a care setting, particularly domiciliary care and supported living.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing care provision.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, person-cantered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in healthcare management or related field.
- Experience working with specific populations, such as elderly or disabled individuals.
- Additional certifications or training in leadership, management, or related areas.

THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE.

IT IS NOT A SPONSORED ROLE. Hours include on call duties.

Health & Social Care Level 5 and a Drivers License are MANDATORY
