An opportunity has arisen within the Roslin Institute Bioinformatics group to contribute to the ongoing success of multiple research projects through the development and maintenance of sample and subject tracking data systems.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), initially fixed term until 31st March 2025. We are open to considering flexible or reduced hours working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Experienced Spring Java developer.
Able to converse with end users across a wide range of seniority levels and scientific backgrounds to acquire and interpret requirements.
Track record of building systems that go beyond “good enough”.
