- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- Full or part-time role, up to 40 hours a week
- Private medical insurance and enhanced parental leave

Purovets are seeking a veterinary surgeon to join the supportive team at a small animal practice in Nottinghamshire. The role is for up to 40 hours a week, and they are happy to accept full or part-time applications from a range of experience levels.

This is a great opportunity for a vet to work in a spacious practice building with state-of-the-art facilities. The practice is equipped to perform routine surgeries, diagnostic tests and imaging by ultrasound and their in-house lab, dental procedures and much more. They aim to provide the best clinical care as well as providing a great place to work, and their vets are given the freedom to make the best clinical decisions for their patients. They are clinically focused, fostering a collaborative approach and creating supportive working environments to be able to achieve career aspirations.

They are a friendly, experienced team with a very loyal customer base. They truly have a family feel and happy culture to their team, retaining staff extremely well with longstanding staff dating back 17 years. They have a very experienced team of vets and nurses with two clinical coaches and they value their staff and want to encourage career development, so if you wish to enrol on your own certificate course they would be happy to support you.

They are ideally looking for a full time Vet to work 40 hours per week, but they appreciate that part-time options may work better for those with commitments outside of work. Therefore, they are happy to discuss all options. They are very understanding of work-life balance and are strict and supportive of ensuring allocated breaks are taken. If you are considering a step into management, they could also consider a move into a Head Vet / Clinical Director role at some point in the near future.

You will be working in Sutton-in-Ashfield, a market town in Nottinghamshire that is historically known for coal mining and textiles. Today, it offers a blend of heritage and modern amenities. The town boasts a mix of shops, parks, and cultural attractions, making it a vibrant community with a rich industrial past. While lacking direct train connections, Sutton-in-Ashfield is within proximity to Mansfield and Nottingham stations, facilitating regional and national travel. The area benefits from its strategic position in the East Midlands transport network.
