About usAbbey Farm Educate Together is a new free school that opened to reception class and pre-school pupils in September 2022, in a brand-new building, delivered by the DfE Free School’s Team. The school will eventually serve 420 pupils, plus pre-school and will act as a community hub for residents of the new Abbey Farm development. We are part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Bath, Keynsham and Weston-Super-Mare. Abbey Farm Educate Together is looking for an experienced LSAs to join our small, hardworking team delivering classroom learning support that includes group/1:1 interventions in classes in EYFS and Key stage 1. The purpose of the role within the classroom is to provide high quality learning support to individual and groups of children in order to meet a range of learning and behaviour needs. We strongly recommend that you come and visit us, spend some time one morning in one of our classes observing, so that you have a clear understanding of how our continuous provision works and what we are looking for. The role involves interacting with the children, within their play, to move their learning on. Paediatric first aid is also desirable. Level 3 or equivalent required. This position will also include leading and participating daily in the morning wrap around care sessions being offered to our pre-school and reception children.Salary: for this role is ET Grade B SCP5 £23,500. pro rata / actual starting salary for these hours will be £19,440 per annumHours: 8am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only including inset days. (35 per week)
Post 2Permanent. The position would be well suited to someone who has experience within KS1. Paediatric first aid is also desirable. . Level 2/3 or equivalent requiredSalary: for this role is ET Grade B SCP5 £23,500. pro rata / actual starting salary for these hours will be £18,051 per annumHours: 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only including inset days. (32.5 per week)
