Summary
We have a temporary position for a Refuse Operative to help with refuse collection in the Boston Borough area.
Hours would be 5.30am until finish which is usually around 3.30pm on a rota system covering Monday to Friday and could be a combination of any or all days so candidates need to be flexible.
This can be quite a physical role and the candidate will be expected to walk for long distances and repetitively pull heavy bins. As a refuse collector or loader, it would be your job to remove waste and/or recyclables from homes and businesses and take it away for disposal or recycling. This position would be especially suitable for candidates who like to be outside in the fresh air.
Candidates need to work well in a team, quickly and cleanly and also have good communications skills as it will involve coming into contact with members of the general public occasionally.
