Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 1:30 pm
Are you a skilled leader with a passion for driving excellence in production? We are looking for a proactive Production Supervisor to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. In this role, you will oversee a team of approximately 20 production operatives, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production operatives to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Implement efficient work processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
