We are looking for an English Teacher to support one of our outstanding secondary schools this September. Our partner school is seeking an experienced teacher with QTS, to work with them on a 1-year contract. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 supporting a range or learning abilities.
Our school is based in Rochdale with access surrounding the local area, such as tram lines, M60 and bus routes. The schools is well-known for its state-of-the-art facilities and year on year success rates. It improves year on year and offer excellent progression opportunities for staff.
You must have excellent subject knowledge and ability to support a range of students and learning abilities.
Requirements:
- Must hold QTS
- Has a passion for the subject, able to forecast this on to students
- Set high expectations for students' behaviour
- Monitor students work and homework providing constructive feedback including future targets
- Uphold the school's values
- Pay will be dependent upon a pay scale ranging between MPS1 - MPS6 (New pay scales will be adhered to)
