Job Title: Compression Spring Maker
Location: Redditch
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £16 - £19 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Flexible shifts between 6 am and 5 pm, totalling a 36-hour workweek.
Preferred shift: 8 am - 5 pm (Monday to Thursday), 8 am - 12 pm (Friday).
Job Description:
Utilise your expertise to operate machines for manufacturing compression springs, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings to produce springs according to specifications.
Programme and set up machines for production runs, adjusting parameters as needed.
Work with a variety of machines, including some mechanical ones, to produce high-quality springs efficiently.
Maintain a relaxed yet productive work environment, ensuring the smooth running of operations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Compression Spring Maker.
Proficiency in running machines, reading technical drawings, and programming.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
