Have you worked in a school kitchen, or maybe a café or a bar with the general public? We’re looking for individuals who may have some experience in the general catering industry, but don’t worry if you’re new to the work as we can provide full training – why not apply for our casual bank role?

Our Bank General Customer Support Assistants help to ensure the College is always supported in their busy catering department, providing a catering service to Weymouth College students and staff and a number of local primary schools. The team work in a busy and productive kitchen with customer support assistants carrying out a varied role to support breakfast, break and lunch service.

We are now looking for individuals to provide additional support to our existing team to cover absence, holidays and busy periods. The role is varied with a range of responsibilities including assisting with packed lunch preparation, canteen service, supporting the chef with meal preparation which can include the main meal, hot and cold food, customer service with students and staff including the use of the canteen tills.

By working on the Bank, you can have the flexibility to work a range of different hours to fit in with your lifestyle and commitments, this could be short term assignments or for longer, full-time bookings – whatever is right for you. You won’t be tied into contracted hours, so you may be able to accept assignments to suit your family and other commitments.
