About the Role:

As Deputy Room Leader in the Babies Room (Pre-School room opportunity available), you will play a vital role in supporting the Room Leader and ensuring the smooth running of the room, providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our youngest children. You will be responsible for:

Supporting the Room Leader in the planning and delivery of a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Taking the lead of the Babies Room in the Room Leader's absence.
Providing sensitive care and support to babies, including nappy changing, feeding, and sleep routines.
Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Observing and assessing babies' progress, documenting their development and maintaining accurate records.
Building strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Supervising and supporting other Early Years Educators in the room.
Contributing to the overall health and safety of the room environment.
Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with babies and young children.
Strong understanding of child development in the early years.
Proven leadership potential and ability to take initiative.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Patient, nurturing, and sensitive individual with a calm and positive attitude.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and remain calm under pressure.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
