About the role
Job title: Delivery Manager
Location: Hybrid with a willingness to travel occasionally to other areas
Salary: £40,180 per annum (Careers Grade 1)
Job type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2025, Full time, 37 hours per week
The Delivery Manager will manage multiple contracts in nominated regions and will work with the Contract Manager to realise all contract- specific objectives through a team of Key Workers operating within the community and in various locations. The role holder will have direct responsibility for the management and direction of the operational delivery resource.

Cornwall and Isles of Scilly People Hub - Assist is a Cornwall Council Shared Prosperity Funded employability programme covering Cornwall and the Isle’s of Scilly.
Knowledge
Essential:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent or have substantial experience in a management role
- An understanding of and a commitment to equality of opportunity for all
- Knowledge and understanding of the wider employability and careers agenda

Experience
Essential:

- Experience of translating national policy direction and strategic objectives into practical local delivery plans
- Experience of working with local authorities, employers and multi-partner environments
- Experience of managing projects
- Experience of facilitating contractual requirements through timebound operational planning
- Experience of managing a team of experienced people
