We are delighted to working with a fantastic new client assisting them with their continued business growth and development. We are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Development Chef with an exceptionally strong background in pastry & baking.
We are wanting to speak with candidates who are passionate about food, up to date with current trends & flavour combinations and who are driven to create fantastic recipes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Strong pastry / bakery skills with a creative flair.
• Excellent planning & communication skills.
• Prior experience working in large volume, fresh food production is desirable.
• Team player – able to work with the wider development team to create bespoke recipes and work to customer briefs.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow into the role as the business continues to grow.
• Be able to drive – essential due to location, supplier meetings, client meetings etc.
Role Responsibilities:
• Work to existing recipes & create new recipes for the business, keeping up with current trends in the industry.
• Work to specific customer briefs.
• Recipe development for dish banks.
• 360 Collaboration, seeing a project through start to finish.
• Bring fresh ideas & innovation.
• Work with the team to manage inventory, ordering and cost control.
