We are hiring a Host/ess to join our team at JOIA, our restaurant, bar, and rooftop located on the 14th, 15th and 16th floor of art'otel Battersea Power Station with iconic views overlooking Battersea Power Station.
Conceptualised by two Michelin-starred Portuguese Chef Henrique Sa Pessoa.
JOIA will celebrate dishes showcasing Henrique's vibrant, unique, and fresh take on traditional dishes using the best of British and Iberian produce sourced locally.
We are looking for a Restaurant Host/ess (Weekends Saturdays and Sundays - 20 hours per week contract):
- Who will welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Who will escort customers to their assigned tables in the dining and bar areas
- Who ensures our restaurant runs smoothly, delivering memorable experiences
- Who will manage bookings and have knowledge of reservation systems such as OpenTable, SevenRooms, etc.
- Who is passionate about exceeding guests' expectations
- With previous experience as a Host/ess in a restaurant
As a Restaurant Host/ess, you will receive:
- Two wellness days per year, meaning all team members start with 30 days of holiday per year (pro-rata) - these increase with service!
- Salary: It is anticipated you will receive from £11.85 (minimum contracted rate) to £15.50 (rate inclusive of TRONC) per hour worked - inclusive of an independently administered TRONC allowance
