Fairfield High School is seeking to employ, on a permanent basis, a Technician for 15 hours per week, term time only plus 2 Inset days. The hours/days worked can be agreed by mutual agreement.
We welcome applications for specialists, or those with a commitment to develop in these areas, in Science, Art or Design Technology. You will work in close liaison with teachers and other technicians and assist in the day-to-day preparation of teaching resources and maintenance of equipment. You will join a team of technicians and the successful candidate will be logical, have good time management and be able to use their own initiative and work alone at times.
Hours of work will be 8.00am – 4.00pm (inclusive of half an hour for lunch) if over two days per week (hours can be worked over three days with a later start to fit in with current Technician team hours). Actual salary based on points 7 – 9, will be £8,384 - £8,669 per annum (full time equivalent of £24,294 - £25,119).
