The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the role will include
Inspection and cleaning of metal LGP stillages for defects on return from customers to allow return of them to production
Sorting metal LGP stillages for scrapping where necessary in coordination with the supervisor
Operation of counterbalance forklift truck
Operation of baling equipment when cleaning stillages
responsibility for tidiness and cleanliness within the framework of 5s
requirement to be compliant with the environmental protection specifications
This role will be on Days shift Monday – Friday with some weekend work, by prior agreement with the Engineering Manager
Successful candidate may be re-deployed within the stillage repair department or other tasks depending on work-load, by agreement with the Engineering Manager
Your Profile
A team player with a keen eye for detail is required for this physically demanding role.
Experience in driving counterbalance forklift truck is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Experience with baling equipment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
