Main duties include:
• Apply paint and finishing coats to vehicles, ensuring high-quality and flawless results.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve precise color matching for vehicle repairs.
• Utilize advanced painting techniques, including spray and hand-painting, to achieve a seamless finish.
• Inspect and identify paint imperfections or defects and make necessary corrections.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow in the paint shop.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of paints and materials.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect both yourself and team members.
Skills and Education:
• Proven one year of experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician in an automotive repair setting.
• Proficiency in paint mixing, matching, and application techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of various painting equipment and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and precautions related to automotive painting.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
