We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join a lovely lady for a Live-in in Devon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Location: Devon (near Newton Abbott)
Role: Care Assistant (Live-in)
Rate: £1000 - £1,100 per week (negotiable based on level of experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lady with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the lady
- Monitor and document changes in the lady's health or behavior
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the lady
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess some of the following skills:
- Experience in providing care for individuals with Parkinson's disease, dementia or memory care needs
- Ability to lift and transfer safely
- Previous experience in assisted living or working with people with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with caregiving techniques and best practices
- Ability to speak Gujarati and Hindi is required
