Residential Childcare Support Worker

location: Derby, East Midlands, and Walsall, West Midlands

Salary: £33,551 per annum (rising to £34,020 after successful probation)

Our client, a leading provider of Residential Childcare services, is currently seeking dedicated and and experiened residential Childcare Support Workers to join their dynamic team in Derby, East Midlands, and Walsall, West midlands. We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 1 year experience in a Residential Childcare role. The idealcandidate will possess NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children andyoung people's workforce, with a Level 4 being advantegous. The residential Childcare support Workers will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people residing in the residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing day-to-day care and support in accordance with inidividual care plans.
    • creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environments for children and young people.
    • |Collaborating with collegues, extenral agencies, and families to ensure the well-being of each child.
    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation as per regulatory requirements

    Requirements:

      • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's orkforce or equivalent qualification, Level 4 iploma is an advantage.
      • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Residential Childcare Setting
      • Understanding of child development, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • strong organizastional abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
      • flexibility to work evenings, weekends
