Summary
We are recruiting to a permanent part time District Nursing Sister/Charge Nurse post to work in the Newcastle District Nursing Evening and Night Service.
Part time hours available would be 25 & 30 hours per week, shift pattern varied from 5pm-10pm, 6pm-11pm, 10pm-8.30am.

• To work within the evening and night service to deliver care to patients requiring input out of hours.
• Suitable post for a registered nurse with District Nursing qualification who has expert knowledge and high level clinical practice within this specialised area.

• The District Nursing Sister / Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing care to a defined caseload by utilising team management and organisational skills. This will include providing leadership, management and clinical supervision to the District Nursing Team.
• To engage in the assessment of individual, family and community health care needs in partnership with patients. Plan implement and evaluate health care programmes to meet identify need, within available resources referring to team members and other agencies as appropriate.
