Crynodeb
This role will provide credible, effective, and visible expertise to support the business in the delivery of the process that supports the NHS CHC Compliance and NHS CHC Independent Review function. The role will involve working closely with the NHS England regional teams to develop and deliver new models, supporting change that addresses unwarranted variation in the system, creating opportunities for learning and sharing.
The post will also provide the direct line management for the NHS Continuing Healthcare Team. The individual will be required to work collaboratively with the Assurance teams, ICSs and other external partners to support the smooth delivery of NHS CHC and the Independent Review process in line with the Department of Health’s ‘National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS-funded Nursing Care July 2022 (revised)’ and National Framework for Children and Young People Continuing Care 2016 . Due to the nature of the policy weighting the post holder’s expertise will be primarily adult NHS CHC leadership with supporting CYP Continuing Care clinical expertise coming from others in the AACC team and wider directorates nursing experts
The post holder will represent the South West Region at National and local engagement stakeholder events and regular ADASS engagement in relation to CHC influencing National policy direction.
• Registered Nurse
• Degree level education with post graduate level qualification or equivalent experience
• Subject Matter expert in Adult CHC as a primary focus area
• Subject matter expert or awareness of CYPCC policy
• Significant CHC operational leadership experience at the ICB level
• Experience of working across health and care policies and stakeholders
• Experience of quality improvement /transformation leadership
