We require a motivated podiatrist with a specialist interest in Rheumatolgy to join the Rheumatology podiatry team.
This post would be suitable for a Podiatrist with experience in, or can demonstrate an interest in biomechanics and rheumatology. This post involves providing high quality intervention to patients who are referred from the specialist Rheumatology MDT for podiatry input. You will work in a variety of different hospital outpatient settings across the region, assessing, diagnosing and implementing individual podiatric treatment plans for patients. You will work alongside Consultant, Specialist Nurses and AHP's and the orthotist. Good organisational and interpersonal skills are important, as is the ability to work independently and as an effective team member within the rheumatology department. You will have the ability to produce detailed, accurate records and implement and evaluate treatment plans.

To undertake assessment and formulate treatment plans for patients referred into Podiatry from the specialist rheumatology multi disciplinary team.
This job is under Annex 20 and is a band 6 post, however on completion of relevant training and competencies will progress to Band 7.
