Crynodeb
The primary duties of the post are to see patients within the Department, with ready access to support and supervision from more senior staff. Maintain continued professional development. Undertake and assist in audit projects at various times. Attend weekly educational and multidisciplinary sessions. To co-operate with members of the HR department when monitoring hours of work. Attend induction in each hospital or new department. Comply with all local policies including dress code, annual and study leave. Medical staff will be expected to show qualities of leadership but also to know their limitations and call for help and advice appropriately. Medical staff will also be able to work independently. Liaise between nurses, other junior doctors, patients, relatives and senior medics.
