Summary
As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for the company’s new product UI/UX design for Association Directory, Membership Portal, Event Ticketing and WhatsApp eCommerce. Your duties and responsibilities are defined below;
Duties:
User Interface (UI) Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for websites and web applications that align with client requirements and best design practices.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Responsive Design: Ensure that web designs are responsive and compatible with various devices and screen sizes, providing a seamless user experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and clients, to translate design concepts into functional web interfaces.
User Experience (UX) Design: Consider user experience principles and usability guidelines to design intuitive navigation flows and interactions that optimize user engagement and satisfaction.
Style Guide Development: Create style guides and design systems to maintain consistency and coherence across multiple web pages and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Testing and Iteration: Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iteratively improve designs and enhance the overall user experience.
Skills:
Design Tools: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Sketch for creating visual assets and mockups.
UI/UX Design Principles: Strong understanding of user interface design principles, usability principles, and best practices for web design.
HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand the technical aspects of web development and collaborate effectively with developers.
Responsive Design Frameworks: Familiarity with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation to create designs that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
Prototyping Tools: Experience with prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, InVision, or Figma for creating interactive prototypes and presenting design concepts.
Typography and Color Theory: Knowledge of typography principles and color theory to create visually harmonious designs and ensure readability and accessibility.
Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, Web Design, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in UI/UX design or web development are beneficial.
